Morning Payer and Fasting

Have you ever wondered, “Why do we fast?”  Some people resist fasting because they don’t see the reason for fasting.  Jesus fasted for spiritual strength to resist the temptations of Satan (Matthew 4:1-11).  Jesus assumed that we would pray, give and fast according to Matthew 6:2,5,16.  Great men and women of God, the heroes of our faith, such as Moses (Exodus 34:27-28), Esther (Esther 4-7), Daniel (Daniel 10), Paul (Acts 9:8-9) and many other fasted.  According to Matthew 6:18 we will be rewarded when we fast.

Morning Prayer

We will be gathering in the Arena for corporate prayer January 11-13 and January 16-17. Join us from 6:00-7:00am for a time of corporate payer. Each day will we have a special prayer focus.
