Oklahoma Tornado Relief

Hey Church,

Our hearts and prayers are with the people of Moore, OK and surrounding areas devastated by several tornados earlier this week. We have always been a church that is quick to respond to those that are hurting by bringing them the hope that only Christ can give. Already, this week, we sent a Cooking for Christ team to represent HPC to serve alongside Church of the Harvest (http://www.harvestokc.com) and others providing relief efforts. Through this team we will be able to cook and give out over 6,000 meals a day!

Here is how you can get involved:

1) We are partnering with Baton Rouge Parents Magazine to collect diapers, batteries and NEW children’s supplies (toys, art supplies, etc.). Clothing is NOT needed at this time. If you would like to contribute, you can drop items off at any of our Highland Campus services on Sunday, May 26th (9:00am, 11:15am or 5:00pm) or this Wednesday, May 29th (7:00pm). There will be drop off pallets in each foyer.

2) There will be opportunities for you to give financially towards these relief efforts at any of our services this Sunday and Wednesday, or you can give online by clicking here and selecting “disaster relief” from the drop down menu.

Healing Place Church, let’s do what we do - be a healing place for a hurting world!

Fully committed,
