Serve Teams
One of the core values here at HPC is serving, and the primary expression of that is our Serve Team. The Serve Team does outreaches throughout the week all across the greater Baton Rouge area showing people the love of Christ in a practical way. Outreaches include serving in the inner city, nursing homes, public schools, water giveaways, and many more. Come be a part of the Servolution!
Baton Rouge Dreamcenter
Meet at the Baton Rouge Dream Center and be involved in a variety of different outreaches that will spread the love of Christ throughout the community.
College
Reach out to the campuses of local colleges to let students know that someone cares for them and that there is a service available just for them.
Cooking for Christ
Meet at appointed times and assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals for the church and the community for a variety of different events.
Donaldsonville Dreamcenter
Outreaches are scheduled weekly to reach out to the community of Donaldsonville and share the love of Christ. Volunteers will be involved in a variety of different outreaches to the community.
Healing Hands
HPC’s medical ministry requires volunteers for our mobile medical and mobile dental clinics, meeting medical needs to share the love of Christ.
Helps Meals
The Helps Meals Ministry is responsible for providing meals to those families who have recently been in the hospital or lost a loved one. The Helps Ministry shows the love of Christ by bringing more than a meal!
Homeless
Reach out to the homeless in the community to let them know that they are noticed and they are loved by reaching out to them.
Human Trafficking
Assist in the efforts of HPC to fight human trafficking in partnerships with different organizations.
Joy Full Souls Clown Ministry
Compassionate Clowning allows the healing power of God’s joy to work in people at such places as hospitals, clinics & nursing homes.
Nursing Home
Help with outreaches and participate in our special services held at the nursing homes. These outreaches are done with the purpose of letting those in the homes know that they are not forgotten but instead they are loved and valuable to God.
Saturday Serve
There are opportunities to serve every Saturday morning! Volunteers are able to go out into the community and show people the love of Christ in a practical way.
Special Events
Serve on a non-regular basis, often meeting a one-time need in the community.
Widows
Reach out to the widows in the community in a variety of ways including lawn care, meal preparations and more.
