April Simons
April Simons and her husband Gary, pastor High Point Church, a vibrant, growing congregation in Arlington, Texas. As a speaker, she gleans from her past experiences, including her ministry at Lakewood Church, where her father, the late John Osteen pastored. April desires to bring inspiration to the lives of women. She ministers regularly at High Point Church Chik Events and at High Point Church's annual Women by God's Design Conference. Dino Rizzo
Dino Rizzo has been Lead Pastor of Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, since he and his wife, DeLynn founded the church in 1993. God has blessed them with three amazing children: McCall, Dylan, and Isabella. Pastor Dino is passionate for the lost. Will childcare be provided?
Childcare will not be provided. However, we want this conference to be mom-friendly. We are making sure that our conference schedule will start and finish in time for moms to drop off and pick up their children from school or day care.
What should I wear?
We want you to be completely comfortable at our conference. Dress for a relaxing day with the girls and be sure to bring a jacket!

DeLynn, along with her husband Lead Pastor Dino Rizzo, founded Healing Place Church in 1993. God has built an incredible team of people at HPC that love each other, are passionate about Christ and work tirelessly to reach the community and world with the hope of Jesus.
DeLynn uses her gifting as a powerful worship leader to usher people into the presence of God in a very real and life-changing way. She is also the very vibrant leader of Healing Place Women. Her passion is to see women of all ages find their place in the Kingdom and begin to Live the Dream!
Human Trafficking occurs in every country in the world. Deemed 'modern-day slavery', victims of all ages are forced into prostitution and other forms of involuntary servitude. Each year an estimated 600,000 to 800,000 men, women and children are trafficked across international borders. 70% are female and 50% are children, the majority of which will be forced into the commercial sex trade. Rated the third most profitable criminal activity in the world, Human Trafficking is an estimated $4 billion industry. Trafficking in persons is a heinous crime and a violation of human rights. It is an underground of brutality, loneliness and fear. This year, we are asking you to help us fight this injustice!
Cyrus International is a charity that is committed to confronting the atrocities of Human Trafficking through the networking of organizations across the earth. Through strategic partnerships, Cyrus wishes to provide HOPE to victims of Human Trafficking. Functioning as a clearing house, Cyrus International collects and distributes finances, resources, and business skills to humanitarian organizations on the forefront of this fight. By coming together, uniting as an army demanding social justice, we believe we can make a difference.
A21, founded by Nick and Chris Caine, is an organization that seeks to rescue women and children who have been forced into prostitution. Our goal is to fund the construction of shelters, rehabilitation centers, legal advocacy offices and also special operation teams whose purpose is to rescue the girls and then the process of emotional rehabilitation will begin. These centers will also provide the education needed to help re-integrate victims back into society.
In His Steps International, located in Cambodia, actively searches for women and girls who have been sold into the sex slave trade and will purchase them from the hands of their traffickers. In His Steps provides business training, seed capital and support to help them to launch small businesses. Micro-enterprise development, as a ministry, focuses on job creation and income generation through small-scale enterprises. By teaching business skills and providing them with start-up costs, these victims are able to become self sufficient and attain a higher level of self respect.
It is reported that every city in the United States is affected by Human Trafficking. At least 100,000 American children are trafficked each year. Recent reports show over 100 victims have been rescued in the Baton Rouge area since 2006. However, no services are available designed to help these victims. In partnership with HPC's Baton Rouge Dream Center, Cyrus International will wage war against this modern-day slavery in our own backyard. The BRDC will build housing and train case managers to minister to and rehabilitate victims of Human Trafficking. In addition, they will establish a network of resources to assist victims in escaping from their situations.
These beautiful women and children suffer from unspeakable abuse including physical beatings, forced abortions, exposure to STD's and malnutrition. Partner with us as we join to fight Human Trafficking around the globe. Every person deserves freedom. Every person deserves HOPE. Together we can make a difference in millions of lives.
