Well, the conference is officially over, but we’re all still re-living the life changing moments, the time with friends and the encouraging words we received from the speakers. On Saturday, the bees were back for one more hilarious song and Christine Caine did an amazing job closing out the conference, reminding us that “Live the Dream” doesn’t have to end. We were challenged to take everything we’ve learned and actually go home to “Live the Dream” that God placed in our hearts. We’re not interested in one-night stands with Christ, we want to be changed forever. Our prayer is that all of you would apply the words we heard and begin to live the life God intended. We are already excited about next years conference and hope to see all of your fabulous faces there!

Our second day of conference has proven to be spectacular. Another amazing and timely word from Holly Wagner, an insightful Q & A session with DeLynn and the girls, a fun “DeLynn’s Favorite Things” give-away, lunch on the grounds from our yummy vendors, lots of hang out time with girlfriends and an incredible evening service that seemed to build from all the previous sessions. The women came through the doors for Friday nights service ready to jump right in! We were able to be in on the first “live” taping of the Live the Dream Singing Bee which was hilarious and hear from guest singer Tammy Trent. Everyone was primed and ready to receive as we entered into worship and sat with open hearts while Christine Caine spoke. We’re continuing to be changed as we take in everything that God has for us and pray that we all go home with fresh power to Live the Dream that God placed in our hearts.

Well, the opening of our first ever Live The Dream conference surpassed all of our expectations! It was amazing! The Highland Campus was stormed by over a thousand women anticipating a life-changing night. All of the opening elements truly helped to bring an expectant atmosphere, worship was powerful and Holly Wagner’s message was inspiring!
At the close of the service, dozens of women made the decision to know Jesus in an intimate way. This is what it’s all about…this is why we’ve spent months preparing and praying, hoping that women would come focused on getting something from God. We’re praying that everyone tomorrow will have the same expectancy and we know that God is going to show up and change lives! A huge thanks to everyone behind the scenes, their hard work definitely paid off and made for an incredible evening!

It’s not just about our dreams…
During our time together, God has put it in my heart to not forget some women who aren’t yet able to dream. These ladies are from Nkobe, a very poor community in the African country of Mozambique.
Many of these precious ladies are alone - trying to feed their families, raise their children, and support themselves in some way. Some have been abused. Some have been abandoned. Some have been widowed by AIDS.

Our goal during this conference is to raise the money to build a women’s center-a healing place-where the expression of Christ’s love will bring hope to thousands. This center will be an extension of the ministry that is going on at the Healing Place campus that was recently opened in Nkobe. These women will be taught practical skills, such as sewing, tie-dye, and cooking so that they can earn money to support their families. Their spiritual needs will also be met through women’s ministry, Bible studies, and counseling. They will be empowered to make a difference for themselves, their families, and the people of their community. They will be the ones to influence and inspire generations to come by living their dreams!
At the conference, you will be given the chance to get involved. Pray about it and ask God what He would have you do to help. We have been blessed to be a blessing. When we’re generous with what God has given us, there is no limit to what can be accomplished for the Kingdom!
