by Dino Rizzo on 02/06/11The past year was difficult for a lot of people, especially financially. Yet, we have seen God's hand remain strong and faithful in all of our lives. As we approached the start of 2011, we felt the Lord's voice challenging us to truly put Him first and commit to the tithe. Here is a sad fact, it's possible to give ten percent, yet not put God first. This happens when tithing is an obligation and not life-giving. In contrast, when God is first in our hearts, returning the tithe becomes one of our great joys. This year, we are committing not just to the tithe, but to put God first in our lives. If He is first, then tithing will be the natural outflow of our heart towards God. I believe that if we will put God first this year, we will see the miraculous.
